Ministry of Economy of the Republic will consult manufacturers on registration of regional brands

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will provide regional producers with consulting support for registering the appellation of origin. This will help to popularize the traditional and folk crafts of the region and promote them in the domestic and international markets.

Assistance will be provided by specialists from the Innovation Department of the Ministry of Economy. To date, 2 designations have been registered in the Rospatent registry from Tatarstan as NMPTs. As noted by experts of the Ministry of Economics, this list can include a significant amount of regional goods, since the republic has a unique national color.
