Support measures for SONKO were discussed in the Public Chamber of Tatarstan

Issues of support to socially-oriented non-profit organizations in the Republic of Tatarstan, both at the regional and federal levels, were discussed in the Public Chamber of the Republic.

The event was held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Rimma Ratnikova, Chairman of the Public Chamber Anatoly Fomin, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin.

Chairman of the Public Chamber Anatoly Fomin noted active work with the non-profit sector of the Republic of Tatarstan on the implementation of activities with the making of grants and subsidies to SONKO: grants of the Cabinet of Ministers, the "Public Initiative" competition, the granting of subsidies to SONCO for the implementation of projects, as well as the increase of social projects of Tatarstan NKOs supported by the fund of presidential grants of the Russian Federation. Thus, the winners of the first contest of presidential grants in 2018 were 58 NKOs of the Republic of Tatarstan, which received financial support totaling 78.8 million rubles.

According to Rimma Ratnikova, Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the main task of holding competitions is to support not a few individual organizations, but as many civil initiatives as possible.

The Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin told about the beginning of the competition on granting subsidies from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to non-profit organizations implementing socially significant projects starting from July 30 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, about new nominations and conditions of the competition. Applications are accepted until September 11, 2018. For all questions of preparation of the application for the contest, it is necessary to apply to the inter-municipal resource centers of NKOs that provide training, consulting and support to the activities of non-profit organizations on a gratuitous basis.
