Today Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksei Pesoshin attended a seminar-meeting on the introduction of digital technologies to improve labor productivity in the industry of Tatarstan and the practice of diversifying production at defense enterprises.
The event was held in the premises of the production association "Sergo Plant" (company POZIS). The meeting with the heads of enterprises was held by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
Before the meeting, the Acting President of Tatarstan visited the complex for the production of household and medical equipment POZIS. During the inspection of production sites, Aleksei Pesoshin was informed that the plant was constantly working to increase labor productivity. Possible problems in the production process are exploring and solving, which makes it possible to reduce losses. Today, the company integrates lean manufacturing principles into digital technologies. Over the past 5 years, the savings from these measures amounted to about 150 million rubles.
During the meeting, representatives of a number of enterprises of the republic told about their experience in the implementation of digital solutions in production and increase in labor productivity.
Acting President of Tatarstan in his speech stresses that the growth of digital technologies has a significant impact on all areas of activity. Each industry is experiencing a digital revolution that forces companies to transform business models, introduce innovative technologies and adapt to the rapidly changing user behavior. "In this sense, industry traditionally has a key role, since your competitiveness depends on it", Aleksei Pesoshin said.
He said that a number of republican industrial enterprises are already seriously involved in digitalization processes. But there are also those who approach to digital technologies very pragmatically, the main emphasis is on those aspects without which it is already impossible to conduct business and do not hurry to invest in fundamentally new directions. "Unfortunately, the heads of many enterprises do not fully understand the mechanism of application of digital methods and their effect. They show a conservative attitude towards innovations, especially in industries and processes where high reliability is required, and in those departments where the notion of "breakthrough technologies" causes managers more anxiety than enthusiasm", said Aleksei Pesoshin.
Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that even the technologies of previous generations are quite poorly mastered in many industries: computer-aided design and production management systems, electronic document management, automation of management and accounting, planning and supply chain management. "So there is a significant potential for increasing efficiency", said ActingPresident of the Republic of Tatarstan.
A key feature of the current stage of digitalization, according to Aleksei Pesoshin, is that not only technologies, but the business of the enterprise, its relations with suppliers and customers, the management system and organization of the enterprise's activities are changing.
"The use of digital technologies is becoming a matter not only of IT specialists specially appointed for this purpose, but of all employees of the enterprise. Without understanding the systemic nature of the changes that are taking place, it will be very difficult for our enterprises to withstand competition in current and future markets. I am confident that the results of the today's workshop-meeting will allow enterprises to more deeply understand and study out the modern realities of the digital economy and to develop effectively", Aleksei Pesoshin added in conclusion.
