The first module of retraining program for economists of cities and regions started in Tatarstan

Mastering best practices in business management and development of 5-year business development programs. A refresher course with such a goal for deputy heads of executive committees of municipal formations started in Kazan today. Educational program "Modern technologies for development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan in a competitive environment" was developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic on behalf of President Rustam Minnikhanov.

About 50 deputy heads of executive committees are passing training. The Minister of Economy of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted that this program would contribute to economic growth, labor productivity and would ensure creation of new jobs.

Educational three-module course will be held until December 18. The participants will study the methods of management team development, the basics of regulatory framework for development of SMEs, and models for analyzing distribution of municipal budget. The program will develop projects for development of small and medium-sized businesses in a competitive environment for each municipality. The projects will be presented to the expert board, which will include employees of the Institute of Communication Management of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, representatives of business associations and representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
