Income and expenses amount to 17.5 billion rubles.
Kazan City Duma approved Kazan budget for 2014 and the planning period of 2015-2016 at today's session.
Ayrat Garipov, Head of Kazan Financial Directorate, reported that the city's income and expenses will amount to 17.5 billion rubles, 6 billion rubles of which will be inter-budget transfers.
A 5% increase of public sectors employees' salaries, public obligations, food and medicine prices and a 12% growth of utility services' cost were used to project the volumetric indicators for the 2014's expenses.
70% of the city's expenses will be allocated to social and cultural spheres.
Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared monthly rating of socio-economic development of municipalities and municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan in January- October 2013 . In the overall ranking the leading position occupied Kazan (1st place ), Almetyevsky (2nd place) and Laishevsky (3rd place ) areas. The greatest change in the rating made Muslyumovsky and Cheremshansky areas (three positions increase) . These changes are due to the improvement of a number of indicators: increasing a purchasing power of wages, decline in registered unemployment . Worsened yhe position of Alekseevsky (5 positions) and Alkeevsky (7 positions ) municipalities. Deteriorations due to the increase of unemployment and a slowdown of investment in fixed assets (excluding the budget) .
In order to implement the Republic of Tatarstan Presidential Decree of 7 May 2012 № 601 "On the main directions of governance improving" in the part of the organization of public and municipal services on the principle of "one window" on the basis of multi-functional centers of public and municipal services (MFC), in November started opened 7 more MFC to receive documents to assist the citizens of state and municipal services in 7 municipalities (Alexeyevsky , Aksubayevsky, Buinsky, Vysokogorsky, Spassky, Cheremshansky and Yutazinsky areas).
On November 28, 2013 head of government services and functional analysis departament of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulfia Nigmetzyanova participated in the first meeting of the Sub-Commission on the use of information technology during provision of public and municipal services to improve the quality of life and the business environment. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov. Presentations were made by the Deputy Minister of Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozyrev and Alexey Alkhazov .
In the period from 19 to 22 November 2013 subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Export Support Center organized a business mission to Kiev (Ukraine). Purpose of the trip was to visit the XII International Industrial Forum. International Industrial Forum - the largest exhibition in Ukraine, registered in the International Exhibition Association, which is the highest level of international recognition for the exhibition.
November 28, 2013 the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the ceremony of talented orphans from Volga Federal District - the participants of the annually held contest of arts and crafts named. Awards ceremony held in the Kremlin Exhibition Hall "Manezh" by a charity fund "AK BARS CREATION ." In 2013 the competition has been presented about 450 creative works of pupils of educational institutions for orphans and children left without parental care, from 13 regions of the Volga Federal District . To participate in the contest children sent their paintings, handicrafts made of paper, wood, leather, and other works.

On November 28, 2013 in Kazan opened the Public Forum "Eurasian Economic Integration: Achievements and Challenges". The forum was organized on the initiative of the "Eurasian dialogue" with Russia's parliamentary club with support of the European FA "Rossotrudnichestvo" and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Forum opened the Coordinator of Eurasian dialogue Andrei Klimov and the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov. Head of FA "Rossotrudnichestvo" Kosachev, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Vice-Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov and other members of the Forum took part in the plenary session of the first day.
Office of Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of federal and republican authorities on regulatory approval of audit plans for 2014. Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is planing to check 12 legal entities in 2014 that are licensed to operate on the harvesting, storage, processing and marketing of non-ferrous and ferrous metals . Plan of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was supported and after its approval will be posted on the official website of the Ministry.
Russian State Duma deputies from Tatarstan took part in a meeting on attracting federal financing to the republic's economy at TANECO, chaired by Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council.
The head of the republic's parliament spoke highly of ministries' and deputies' work to attract federal financing. Tatarstan participates in 25 out of existing 38 federal target programs.
Mukhametshin pointed out that Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, has set the goal to retain that volume of investment in 2014-2015, taking into account the difficult economic situation in the country. In November, Tatarstan's economic growth rate amounted to 1.2%, Russian rate - around zero. "In these circumstances, we need to fight for every kopeck of federal target programs," - stated the Chairman of State Council.
