Since January 1, 2014 shall come into force the Federal Law 05.04.2013 № 44-FZ "On the contract system in the procurement of goods, works and services for state and municipal needs". In order to implement this law the Republic of Tatarstan, 17 April 2013 defined a pilot region for the approbation of his individual equipment, in connection with which the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a "road map" for the implementation of this project. Provided for in the "road map" organically complement the activities lined up in the country a system of public procurement in terms of mandatory forecasting and procurement planning.

July 24, 2013 the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the meeting of the working group of the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation to monitor the achievement of the targets of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, determined by the President of the Russian Federation. The meeting took place at the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, chaired by the Assistant of the President of Russia Andrei Belousov. Participants of the meeting discussed the results of the socio-economic development, defined by the President of the Russian Federation, the implementation of instructions provided by the decrees of the President of the Russian Federation on May 7, 2012 № 596-606, as well as organizational issues.

July 10, 2013 at the Ministry held a meeting on the development of interactive passports municipalities within the module "Passport municipalities' information-analytical system" Socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan ".

The meeting was attended by representatives of national ministries and departments responsible for the provision of information on the performance of the module. To them have been trained on the technology of data entry into the system.

Online passport Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan is designed to represent complex information about the development of municipalities between consumers and includes a section Modelling (ratings) socio-economic development of the municipalities of the republic and the section forming an analytical note on the development of municipalities.

Online passport will ensure the collection, control and coordination of the primary information of state and local governments, as well as the harmonization of data.

July 10, 2013 at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting to discuss issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Hubei Province of China. The meeting was organized on the initiative of the People's Republic of China to establish the level of mutually beneficial regional cooperation in the field of investment, entrepreneurship and other joint areas. Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Deputy Minister Artem Zdunov noted that Belarus is a reliable and dynamically developing region and investment-attractive partner. Members of the delegation of Hubei Province have expressed interest in exporting to the Republic of Tatarstan, textile raw materials, equipment, clothing, and the implementation of investment projects in the pharmaceutical industry, import and export of cars and parts.

July 8, 2013 at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Minister Ayrat Shamsiev held a meeting with representatives of higher education institutions in order to attract small and medium-sized businesses to improve skills of workers and specialists, as well as improve the interaction of educational institutions to the business environment in the framework of training, retraining, and professional development. During the meeting of heads of higher education institutions have been advised of the possibility of obtaining grants for reimbursement of costs of small and medium enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan to receive educational services related to the training, retraining and advanced training, and the development of business and entrepreneurial literacy competencies in the following sizes: • for short-term training (lasting 72 hours) - in the amount of 100 percent of the costs associated with getting a business entity (his staff) educational services, but not more than thirty thousand; • when training on the subject or problem seminars (lasting from 73 to 100 hours ) - the amount of 100 percent of the costs associated with getting a business entity (his staff) educational services, but not more than thirty tysyachrubley; • prolonged training (lasting from 101 to 200 hours) - 50 percent of the costs associated with getting a business entity (his staff) educational services, also not more than thirty thousand.

July 9, 2013 Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan - Head of Business Support Department Rustem Sibgatullin held video conference with municipalities on the implementation of the republic in 2013, state support programs for small and medium businesses. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Center for Entrepreneurship Support, created especially for the free business counseling on various issues, including participation in the programs of support and acceptance of applications for participation in the competition. Rustem Sibgatullin told the meeting about the results of the competition of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for grants of the federal budget, which resulted in the size of co-financing of activities of the Republic of Tatarstan for the development of business in 2013 amounted to 1.17 billion rubles. "We need to correctly distribute the funds so that they are effectively invested in small and medium-sized businesses, and brought out the country," - said Rustem Sibgatullin.
