Seminar "Prospects of the Kazan agglomeration: the economy and space" will pass in Kazan on May 14 within the project of development of Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030. Developers of the document, representatives of the republican ministries and departments, heads of the municipalities entering the Kazan agglomeration, heads of the largest enterprises of Kazan and nearby areas, experts will participate in a seminar. The seminar purposes – involvement of municipalities' heads  of agglomeration in the Tatarstan-2030 project and specification of the directions of the project work in the Kazan agglomeration.

On May 12, 2014 the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sharifullin participated in a republican zone training seminar "The program budget. Tax on real estate of persons" which took place in the National cultural center "Kazan". During a seminar questions of formation of budgets in a section of the state (municipal) programs, and also introductions of a new tax on real estate of persons were considered in detail.

From May 16, 2014 to June 2, 2014 order taking, applying for inclusion in the general demand from the Republic of Tatarstan for receiving a federal subsidy on action "Creation of industrial (industrial) parks" is declared. Demands are accepted by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan to the address Kazan, Moskovskaya St., 55, office 506.

The center of export support of the Republic of Tatarstan invites export focused businessmen to take part in the Russian exposition at the XXV Harbin international trade and economic fair HTF 2014 which will take place from June 30 to July 4 in Harbin, the Republic of China.

In the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the action devoted to the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 with participation of front workers of military years, veterans of work and heroes of the state plan and theMinistry of Economy took place.

On May 16, 2014 in Kazan in Science and technology park in the sphere of high technologies "IT park" will take place a meeting of representatives of Community of global sheyper under the name "The Cities — New Champions of the World Economic Forum".

In pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of April 28, 2008 No.607 "About an assessment of efficiency of activity of local governments of city districts and municipal areas" work on preparation of reports of heads of municipal areas and the city districts of the Republic of Tatarstan about the reached values of indicators for an assessment of efficiency of their activity for 2013 and planned values for 2014-2016 is complete.

On May 7, 2014 the Minister of Economy of RT Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held meeting on a question of improvement of a technique of formation of a monthly rating of municipal areas (city districts) the Republic of Tatarstan.
