These and other projects were presented today in Naberezhnye Chelny. The zonal stage of the Republican Charity Festival “Social Fair” was held in Avtograd. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Pelevin.

A competition of strategic initiatives "Locomotives of Growth" has started in Tatarstan. Professionals in the industrial sector, economics and management under the age of 40 years, graduate students in the areas of "Economics" and "Management" may participate in the competition.

Acceptance of applications for participation in the 7th stage of "Commercialization" program of the Innovation Support Fund has started. It is aimed at supporting innovation activities of small enterprises that have completed the research and development stage and are planning to create or expand production.

Projects for development of SMEs that will be implemented in Tatarstan in the coming years were discussed in Chelyabinsk where the VIII All-Russian Conference "Development of infrastructure systems to support small and medium-sized businesses" was held.

This year, 32 graduates of the “Start-Career” project received grants amounted to 117 thousand rubles. Each of them will be aimed at starting a business. Most of the projects will be implemented in the service sector. Among the most interesting ideas are the creation of a theater for children, opening of a speech therapy center, a law office, a hairdressing salon and a tailor shop.

Today a delegation from the Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauzia (Republic of Moldova) visited the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan. Acting Deputy Minister Indira Kireeva acquainted the delegates with the investment climate of the republic. She noted that Tatarstan was one of the most dynamically developing regions of Russia. Today companies from more than 30 countries of the world are represented in the republic. The favorable investment climate in Tatarstan is influenced by the developed economic zones, industrial parks and industrial sites, as well as the reduction of administrative barriers.

Representatives of the Single-industry towns Fund and the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Natalya Tarkayeva, studied implementation of new investment projects in Naberezhnye Chelny. She recalled that in Tatarstan there were seven single-industry towns: Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Mendeleyevsk, Elabuga, Chistopol, Zelenodolsk and Kamskie Polyany urban-type settlement.
