The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the educational seminar "Instruments of State financial support and algorithms for their obtaining. Building a system of intellectual property' monetization"

Today, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the educational seminar on the topic: "Instruments of state financial support and the algorithms of their obtaining. Building the system of intellectual property monetization", arranged by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Institute of Business Financial Development (Moscow) and the Republican Regional Office of the All Russian social organization "Delovaya Rossia".

The Deputy Minister of Economy - Bulat Khaziakhmetov mad e a welcome speech to participants of the seminar, noting the importance of the issue of implementation and development of the intellectual property market in the Republic of Tatarstan and wishing them, including representatives of ministries and departments, enterprises of the Republic, universities, small and medium-sized businesses, the greater involvement in the process.

Also during the seminar, the CEO of the Business Financial Development Institute - Ildar Shaikhutdinov told in his report about the innovative financial tools to support the company.

Together with the seminar participants they discussed issues, related to the basics of  management of intellectual property on the enterprise, building a system for the protection of new technologies and secrets of production, financial aspects of intellectual property, accounting, taxation and evaluation of intellectual property, as well as existing measures of State support for enterprises via the program of the Fund for Innovations' Promotion, the Russian Venture Company and the SME Corporation.

The sub program "The development of the intellectual property market in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016-2020 years" being part of the program "Economic development and innovation economy of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020 years", is being implemented in the Republic of Tatarsatn, which is focused at development of the  effective mechanism of deriving economic benefits from scientific, technological, innovation and production activities, and improving the competitiveness of republican producers on domestic and foreign markets through the effective management of intellectual property.

The Republic of Tatarstan is steadily occupying the leading positions in the Russian Federation in respect of the number of applications for the subjects of industrial property, and is one of 15 regions of the Russian Federation with the largest number of applications for inventions, which are submitted annually.

Thus, in 2016, the number of applications, submitted from the Republic of Tatarstan to Rospatent amounted to: for inventions-723; for a useful model-446; for industrial samples-58; for trademarks-911.

In total, in 2016, 632 patents for inventions were granted to the applicants from the Republic of Tatarstan. By this indicator, the Republic occupies the first place in the Volga Federal District and the fourth in the Russian Federation.

2183 objects of intellectual property, according to the data form of the federal statistical observation No. 4-NT Iinformation on the use of intellectual property" were used in 2016 in the Republic of Tatarstan, including: Inventions-1320, useful models-465, industrial samples-51, databases-47, computer programs-300.

By this indicator, the Republic of Tatarstan occupies the first place in the Volga Federal District, and the third place in general in the Russian Federation after Moscow (8307) and St. Petersburg (2305).
