The Republic of Tatarstan has been declared the lead region for 3 straight years , which has ensured the most favourable conditions for conducting business and investment activities.
This was known from the presentation of the result of the National rating of the investment climate in the Russian Federation subjects. The presentation was held at the SPIEF-2017. The rating was attended by 85 entities of the Russian Federation.
Total ratings announced the general director of autonomous non-profit organization, "Agency of Strategic initiatives" for new projects, Svetlana Chupsheva. She also reported that more than 400 thousand participants had participated in the survey.
The first ten also hit the Chuvash Republic, Moscow, Tula, Kaluga, Tyumen, Voronezh, Moscow, Ulyanovskaya district, Krasnodarskii district.
The national ranking of the investment climate assesses the efforts of regional authorities to create an enabling business environment and identifies best practices, and its results stimulate competition for investment at the regional level.
Regions are evaluated according to the A rating system from the best to the worst: Unstable, moderate, improving, comfortable, supportive. The analysis among the regions was held in four areas: "A" ("Regulatory Environment"), "B" ("Business Institutions"), "B" (Infrastructure and resources), "G" ("Small and Medium Business support").
