The II International Conference of clusters “The clusters are opening borders. Green corridor” will take place in St. Petersburg from May 10 to May 12

The II International Conference of clusters “The clusters are opening borders. Green corridor” with participation of the Ministry of Economic Development will take place in St. Petersburg from May 10 to May 12. The organizer of the Conference is the Centre of cluster development of St. Petersburg (JSC Technopark of St. Petersburg).

The aim of the Conference is to consolidate the experience of Russia's regions and the world's best practices in the field of cluster communications, creation of conditions for intersectoral, inter-regional and cross-border cooperation, expert analysis of topical issues of cluster development in the region and to draw up practical proposals for their solution, an integrated cluster policies in the region, competitiveness clusters at regional and international levels, development of competencies and capacity building for all subjects of the cluster medium.

The Conference will bring together representatives of federal and regional state authorities, the international expert community, representatives of domestic and overseas territorial clusters, innovation infrastructure facilities and development institutions, public organizations, scientific and educational community, large industrial corporations and small businesses. From the Republic of Tatarstan, the Conference will be attended by Head of analytical service of the Association “Non-profit partnership “Kamsky innovation territorial industrial center” - Mrs. Galina Maljazina.

Among the key activities of the Conference it is provided to hold training seminars and master classes with participation of leading experts on the international level, the first interregional gathering centers clustered development, round tables on priority issues of cluster development, presentation of Russian and international cluster projects.

The Conference expects reports of the leading Russian and international experts from Austria, Spain, Finland, France, Israel, Taiwan and Russia.

In addition, in the framework of the Conference on May 10, 2017 it is planned to visit the Engineering Centre “Centre of computer engineering” of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great, as well as production facilities of leading enterprises of the innovative territorial cluster cluster of medical, pharmaceutical industry, radiation technology"-the Group of companies “Geropharm” and JSC “Biocard”.
