On Cosmonautics Day, April 12, with the support of the Republic of Tatarstan Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Education and Science, Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology, and KNITU-KAI was held the second stage of All-Russian event “Hackathon 2017”.
In robotical “Hackathon” participated teams from KNITU-KAI Engineering Lyceum for supernormal children, Engineering Lyceum of Soviet region of Kazan,
Russian Federation Youth Innovation Centers’ (TsMIT) from Penza, Samara and Tambov, as well as Republic of Tatarstan TsMIT teams.
It should be recalled that within “Hackathon” framework for two days was held models assembly at the project sites. On the grounds of “Lyceum-Engineering Center” the forum participants studied basics of aerodynamics and aeromodelling, assembled controlled unmanned aerial vehicle and learned basics of its piloting.
On the grounds of Engineering Lyceum of KNITU-KAI children studied basics of Inmoov robotics, assemble and develop anthropoid robot. The work of “Hackathon -2017” was finalized on April 12 with solemn event in the eighth building of the KNITU-KAI. An exhibition of design works and achievements of students was presented. Also children launched controlled unmanned aerial vehicles of own assembly and presented anthropoid robot Inmoov, which size is comparable to the size of an adult's body. In addition were organized master classes from “Kuka” and “Eidos Robototekhnika” companies and excursion to KNIT KAI laboratories (nanocenter, laser technologies department and quantum center).
