AIRR Committee on Modernization and Innovative Economy Session was held in Sochi

Today, session of the Committee on Modernization and Innovative Economy of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, chaired by the State Secretary- Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Oleg Fomichev, was conducted as a part of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.

During the session were debriefed the results of the Committee work in 2016, considered issues on preparation and implementation of educational programs for cluster –leaders’ teams, issues of cluster leaders foreign economic activity support by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and development institutions, cooperation mechanisms of innovative clusters and universities within the Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science priority project “Universities as innovations creation field centers”, issues of AIRR regions participation in federal activities in 2017, as well as establishing of Committee venture investment working group.

The session was attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and expert community.
