Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov met with Head of FAS of Russia Mr. Igor Artemyev

The meeting between the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mrs. Rustam Minnikhanov with Head of the Federal Anti-monopoly Service Mr. Igor Artemyev on the issue of implementation of the standard of competition development in subjects of the Russian Federation, approved by the direction of the RF Government dd. 05.09.2015 No.1738-р (Standard) took place in Moscow on February 14. The Minister of Economy Mr. Artem Zdunov attended the meeting as well.

During the conversation they discussed issues of cooperation between the FAS of Russia with the bodies of Executive power of subjects of the Russian Federation in the framework of the implementation of the Standard, as well as the problems, faced by the regions in performance of the document’s requirements. The proposals for the competition development in Tatarstan were announced.

Please be reminded, that the Standard is aimed at creating conditions for the development of competition in markets of goods and services in the region, and work transparency of the regional authorities, creating incentives for the protection of subjects of small and medium business and elimination of administrative barriers.

According to the direction of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dd. 06.05.2014 No. 799-R the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is the authorized body of Executive power of the Republic of Tatarstan in promoting competition development in the Republic of Tatarstan.
