The government of the Russian Federation has approved regulations of design office work

The government of the Russian Federation at the meeting which has taken place on October 13, 2016 has approved the draft of the Provision of the organization of activity of design office. Passports of projects in which target indicators and the amounts of financing of the chosen priorities will be reflected, it is planned to approve in December of the current year.
According to the document, portfolio of projects is formed by presidium of council, it makes the decision on the beginning and completion of their realization, and also estimates results. The Department of design activity of the government will become federal design office. The department will select projects and programs, to conduct monitoring, and also to render state agencies assistance at the organization of the project work. In each priority direction the separate design committee which decisions will be obligatory for departments will be created. Curators of the priority directions — Deputy Prime Ministers will direct work of committees.
From the middle of 2017 it is planned to introduce requirements to skill level of the head in the sphere of project management — this criterion has to be approved by presidium of council. Consulting support to design teams will be given by the Center of design management which is planned to be created on the basis of a RANEPA.
