The Minister of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov took part in work of Urbanistic conference "The cities and territories tomorrow: tools of positive changes"

Today second series of urbanistic conferences "Cities and territories tomorrow: the tools of positive changes" passes in Kazan, on a platform of "Korston" hotel complex .
This year similar actions already took place in Khabarovsk and Samara. After Kazan similar forums will take place in Novosibirsk and in St. Petersburg. The Moscow international urbanistic forum which will be organized in the fall of this year will finish a series of conferences.
The acting president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, heads of other cities of the republic, representatives of bodies of legislative and executive power, business community, the leading Russian and international experts in the field of urbanistics, town planning, economy and sociology took part in today's action.
Within conference plenary session "Water in the modern city" took place. As the moderator of a meeting the rector of the Moscow school of management "Skolkovo" Andrey Sharonov acted. Participants discussed strategy of development and rational use of coastal territories of the Volga and Kazanka Rivers, questions of creation of the modern embankment and development of the general standards of improvement of spaces at reservoirs.
In particular, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that 8% of the territory of the republic is occupied by water open spaces, thus coast of the rivers and lakes are often used inefficiently.
Speaking about the capital of Tatarstan - Kazan, Rustam Minnikhanov noted: "Kazan has great opportunities, but also there is a lot of problems. Everything is built up, divided, on each patch there is an owner. We should pass all these difficulties".
Within conference during the day will pass "round tables" on such subjects, as "Public infrastructure: development in the conditions of deficiency of budgetary funds", "Innopolis: First city of Russia of the XXI century", and also meeting "Civil participation in management of the city".
