Waste and scrap of non-ferrous and ferrous metals were included into the list of significantly goods, important for domestic market of Russia. The corresponding order is published on the site of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Today in the Russian market in certain regions deficiency of scrap metal is observed. Inclusion in the list of waste and scrap of non-ferrous and ferrous metals allows to enter and apply measures of non-tariff regulation to these commodity positions quickly. It is necessary for prevention of their critical shortcoming and increase in prices in domestic market for metallurgical and industries, adjacent to it.
The taken measure will allow to make in case of need quickly the decision directed on reduction of deficiency of scrap metal and increase of productivity of the Russian metallurgical enterprises due to loading of reserve capacities that will positively affect profitability of the operating and entered productions.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
