Questions of preservation and development of the city Chistopol within the "Preservation and Development of the Small Historical Cities and Settlements" project are discussed

On April 7, 2015 in Chistopol of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting under the chairmanship of the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Vasyl Shaykhraziyev concerning preservation and development of the historical settlement of federal value the city of Chistopol within the "Preservation and Development of the Small Historical Cities and Settlements" project took place.

Within meeting the presentation of the project of development of historic center of the city of Chistopol took place, and also questions of further implementation of this project were discussed.

In meeting representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tourism and others took part. The Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the deputy minister Ayrat Shamsiyev.

The historical settlement of federal value the city of Chistopol is included in the "Preservation and Development of the Small Historical Cities and Settlements" project in the "big investments" direction. 

Within competition of "big investments" implementation of investments is planned: 

– in development of tourist potential, including development of tourist infrastructure, marketing, branding, support of projects of cultural institutions, art crafts and crafts, and also strengthening of institutional potential in the field of tourism development, including cultural and informative tourism; 

– in carrying out complex actions in part of territories of historical settlements, including restoration and the adaptation of objects of cultural heritage, reconstruction and building of other objects for completion of losses of historical building in a security zone (regeneration of the territory), modernization of engineering networks and improvement of the historical territory.
