On March 25, 2014 the briefing with representatives of mass media about results of working visits of delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to Japan and Democratic People's Republic of Korea took place. The head of Agency of investment development of the Republic of Tatarstan Linar Yakupov, the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the head of local office on implementation of the Tatarstan-2030 project Vladimir Gritskikh, the chairman of the board of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Kabirov and the vice rector for questions of economic and strategic development of K(P)FU Marat Safiullin took part in a briefing.
The trip was directed on studying of the best practices of Japan in various directions which could be introduced in the Republic of Tatarstan within formation of the "Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030" project.
So, experience of Japan was of special interest for delegation of the republic in the field of development of strategy of territorial, industrial development and development of transport and logistic infrastructure, and also agriculture. The delegation visited objects in Tokyo and Yokohama for studying of experience of reconstruction of urban areas, including modernization of old industrial building to the modern city area.
Sariya Siraziyeva emphasized that Japanese experience can be used at implementation of strategic projects of reconstruction of old industrial regions of Kazan and development of the Kazan agglomeration, and also in such projects, as "Innopolis" and "City Smart Kazan".
