A meeting of the operational headquarters for the sustainable development of the republic’s economy was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today in Kazan, a working group meeting was held under the chairmanship of Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting focused on ensuring the stable operation of enterprises and organisations in the Alekseevsky Municipal District.

The group included the head of the district and representatives of the region’s sectoral ministries.

During the meeting, the participants discussed measures aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted operation of local businesses, as well as mechanisms for identifying and resolving systemic issues.

The economy of the Alekseevsky Municipal District is mainly represented by the agro‑industrial complex. According to preliminary data for the first half of 2026, the gross agricultural output of the district reached 1 249.7 million rubles, showing a 2 % growth. Livestock farming holds the leading position, accounting for 94.1 % of the agricultural production structure.

Construction ranks second in the district’s economy (30.9 % of the gross territorial product), with road construction being the dominant area. The industrial sector (7.2 % of the GTP) is also demonstrating positive dynamics: the industrial production index for January–June 2026 amounted to 113.2 %. The district’s profit for January–May 2026 increased by 7.7 % compared to the same period last year.

The volume of investments in fixed assets increased in the first quarter of 2026 and amounted to 754.2 million rubles (in the same period of the previous year, it was 573.5 million rubles).

Special attention was paid to supporting small and medium‑sized businesses (SMEs), whose share in the district’s economy is 26.7 %. The Minister of Economy set the task of increasing the number of SME entities and creating a favourable business environment.

Following the event, the working group members were instructed to continue systematic work to identify factors affecting the financial stability of the district’s organisations and to ensure strict monitoring of the achievement of financial and economic targets. Relevant instructions were given to the district authorities and local enterprises.
