The Ministry of Economy held a meeting of the working group of the Operational Headquarters for ensuring the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan

On July 8, 2026, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, held a strategic meeting of the working group of the Operational Headquarters for ensuring sustainable economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Ramil Nutfullin, the head of the Baltasinsky municipal District, and representatives of the sectoral ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the meeting of the working group.

The event discussed measures to ensure the smooth operation of enterprises and organizations in the Baltasinsky district.

The Minister noted that the basis of the district's economy is formed by enterprises of the agro-industrial complex (more than half) and the dynamics in the main sectors of the economy this year is mostly positive.

"Milk production as of June 1, 2026 is 109%. In terms of milk production, the district occupies the second position in the republic," he noted.

The share of small businesses in the district's economy is 56.9%. Baltasinsky district is higher than the national average in terms of the growth rate of key areas of SME development: 8th place in terms of the growth rate of the number of SMEs by the beginning of the year and 3rd place in terms of newly created entities.

It was also noted that the real wage growth rate compared to the same period of the previous year was 107.8%.

The Minister stressed the importance of strengthening the position of the municipality among the leaders of the regional rating through structural transformations, the development of related industries and increased entrepreneurial activity of the population. In order to create a favorable business environment, enterprises were recommended to use state support mechanisms.

"In addition, it is necessary to conduct appropriate work with enterprises affected by the tax changes," the minister stressed.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov also noted the importance of enterprises using the capabilities of the Regional Marketing Center of the Republic of Tatarstan (RMC RT).

The Center functions as an effective platform facilitating the establishment of partnerships between Tatarstan manufacturers, including small and medium-sized businesses, and customers from government, municipal and commercial organizations.

The provided resource supports local suppliers in finding potential orders, expanding the geography of their activities beyond the republic. It is also worth noting the Import Substitution Center, which aims to help customers select alternative domestic solutions for imported components and raw materials.

"Our key task is to maintain the stable operation of SMEs and prevent a decline in the economic performance of municipalities," Midkhat Shagiakhmetov summed up.
