Tatarstan has become one of the leading regions in the implementation of the regional export standard

The Republic has become one of the leading regions in the implementation of the regional export standard (RES). The work of the region was highly appreciated by the General Director of the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) Veronika Nikishina during a working meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

The head of the REC noted that Tatarstan was one of the regions whose practices became the basis for the further development of the regional export standard – in 2025, the RES was updated to version 3.0. This confirms the high level of development of the region's export ecosystem and the effectiveness of existing mechanisms to support enterprises operating in foreign markets. 

The regional export standard 3.0 was developed within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" and provides for the transition from creating basic conditions for export development to the introduction of practical tools to support exporting companies, taking into account business needs. 

It should be recalled that Tatarstan provides comprehensive support to export-oriented companies through the Regional Export Support Center (ESC RT) subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.  

Support measures include the search and selection of a foreign buyer, individual marketing research, individual patent research, participation in exhibition events in Russia and abroad, and much more.

By the end of 2025, about 2,000 export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of Tatarstan took advantage of these state support measures.
Also, 76 entrepreneurs, recipients of the services of the ESC RT, signed export contracts, the geography of the countries was 72 countries.
