The State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the development of the republic's business with regional entrepreneurs

Today, a dialogue between government officials and the business community took place within the walls of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

Parliamentarians, as well as delegates from relevant ministries and agencies of the republic, met with members of the Tatarstan branch of the all-Russian organization “Delovaya Rossiya.” The main topic of discussion was areas of cooperation between government agencies and the Tatarstan business community.

The meeting, chaired by Ryagat Khusainov, Chairman of the State Council Committee on Economy, Investment, and Entrepreneurship, was attended by Maxim Topilin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy; Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Economy; Artur Abdulzyanov, State Council Deputy and Head of the regional branch of "Delovaya Rossiya"; and Lenar Zamaliev, Deputy Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

Opening the discussion, Ryagat Khusainov emphasized the need to synchronize the efforts of government and business to accelerate the republic's economic development. He emphasized that the goal is to strengthen constructive cooperation aimed at implementing joint projects.

In his welcoming remarks, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted the continued business activity despite external challenges. He also addressed the issue of business adaptation to current foreign economic restrictions and operational difficulties.

The minister also noted the importance of regular dialogue between businesses and government:

"Interaction between government and business is one of the factors influencing the conditions for entrepreneurial and investment activity both in the region and throughout the country."

The minister emphasized that business proposals are taken into account when developing support programs, and the effectiveness of these measures is assessed based on entrepreneurs' performance.

Artur Abdulzyanov emphasized that open dialogue between businesses and government agencies is a powerful catalyst for economic growth. 

"But there are certain difficulties. We understand that small and medium-sized businesses account for approximately 22% of Russia's gross domestic product. In European countries, it is approximately 50%, and in China, 75%. Therefore, we can say that there is potential for growth. We know that the authorities not only listen to us, but also hear us," the deputy noted.

Maxim Topilin, in turn, shared the positive dynamics of the Russian economy, noting growth of more than 10% over the past three years. 

"We haven't seen such growth since the 2000s. This is precisely the result of focusing on entrepreneurial initiative. Of course, with some support from the state," the State Duma deputy stated.

The meeting agenda included a question-and-answer session. Department representatives explained the main points on the roundtable agenda. Businesses voiced proposals for their regulation.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony for activists of the Tatarstan branch of Delovaya Rossiya for their contribution to the development of the entrepreneurial environment.
