A meeting of the working group of the Operational Headquarters for Ensuring Sustainable Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Zelenodolsk

The meeting was attended by Maxim Topilin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy; Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Economy; Mikhail Afanasyev, Head of the District; Leonid Yakunin and Ryagat Khusainov, State Council Deputies of the Republic of Tatarstan; representatives of republican ministries; and heads of city-forming enterprises.

The economic indicators of the Zelenodolsk District demonstrate positive development trends. The industrial production index was 102.1%, with industry accounting for 27.2% of the district's economy. The Zelenodolsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan shows an index of 28.3%, ranking 24th in the republic's innovation activity ranking. This indicates a certain potential for growth.

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to regional development: 

"Municipal entities of the Republic of Tatarstan and sectoral ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan must conduct a detailed analysis of factors affecting the financial stability of the organizations they supervise and ensure that organizations meet financial and economic indicators, including through balance sheet committees."

 During the meeting, participants discussed in detail specific proposals from enterprises to improve production efficiency. Together with plant managers, they developed further steps to implement this initiative, and identified points of contact with sectoral ministries to promptly resolve emerging issues. This format allowed for a transition from formal dialogue to the development of joint practical solutions, taking into account feedback from local industries.

The performance of the Zelenodolsk Advanced Development Area demonstrates the effectiveness of the strategy being implemented. As of June 29 of this year, 30 residents have been registered, against a target of 18, and 12,432 new jobs have been created, against a target of 2,480. Of the 30 residents, 24 have already launched production, three more are in the process of developing technical documentation, and two are carrying out construction and installation work.

Meeting participants reaffirmed the need to continue systematically supporting enterprises, minimizing risks, and identifying growth opportunities. The working group was tasked with organizing work with each enterprise to ensure uninterrupted operations, conducting a detailed analysis of factors affecting the financial stability of organizations, and ensuring monitoring of financial and economic performance. 

Such offsite meetings are becoming an effective tool for monitoring and stimulating the development of industrial centers in the Republic of Tatarstan.
