The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the protection of entrepreneurs' rights, dedicated to the issues of legality in the implementation of control (supervisory) activities and reducing administrative pressure on business. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic Zafar Makhmudov.
Representatives of federal and regional control (supervisory) bodies took part in the work, reflecting an interdepartmental approach to decision-making. In his opening remarks, Zafar Makhmudov noted: "The task of the control bodies is to carry out prevention, warn businesses about possible violations and help eliminate them. In order to improve the investment climate, coordinated and consensual work of all levels of government is needed."
Special attention was paid to reducing the administrative burden on businesses. Gulnaz Ismagilova, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, stressed that this area is one of the most important assessment criteria in the National Rating of the investment Climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation: "The rating allows us to identify reserves annually to improve business conditions," she said. There was also a need to ensure a balance between reducing the number of inspections and protecting the interests of the state and society.
During the meeting, representatives of the territorial divisions of federal agencies — Rospotrebnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, Rostrud, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations - outlined the current problems that arise in the process of state control (supervision).
The discussion made it possible to outline further ways to improve control and supervisory activities in the region, aimed both at developing entrepreneurship and ensuring legality and security.
