Tatarstan's small technology companies received more than 400 million rubles of state support

Small technology companies (STC) of Tatarstan have received more than 400 million rubles under specialized STC support programs over the past and current year.

Technology companies are supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and its subordinate institutions under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

As of July 2025, 207 small technology companies are operating in the Republic of Tatarstan, which have access to a wide range of government support measures in the form of preferential loans, microfinance, guarantees, leasing, as well as the services of the My Business Center. 

In two years, the financial support of the STC totaled more than 400 million rubles. The allocated funds for specialized support measures for the STC included microfinance products totaling over 50 million rubles, guarantees worth more than 309 million rubles and preferential leasing in the amount of about 90 million rubles. 

The My Business Center, subordinate to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Export Support Center of the non-profit microcredit company Foundation for Entrepreneurship Support of the Republic of Tatarstan also provided a wide range of consulting and practical services. 

"The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan considers the support of small technology companies as a strategic direction to ensure the technological independence and competitiveness of the region. This allows us to create conditions under which innovative ideas find practical application and turn into successful business projects," said Natalia Kondratova, Deputy Minister and Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department.

RT technology companies have access to financial support, guarantees secured by intellectual property, leasing at reduced rates and other products provided by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund (ESF), the RT Regional Leasing Company (RLC RT) and the RT Guarantee Fund.

A striking example is the small technology company KamaEnergetika LLC, which in 2024-2025 was provided with a guarantee by the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as equipment leased at a discounted rate from RLK RT JSC to equip a new production site. 

KAMA-Energetika is a modern enterprise for the production of gas-piston power plants, diesel power plants and power plants. The support provided allowed the company to expand production and increase production volumes. 

Special attention is also paid to companies operating in the field of digital technologies, industrial innovations, medical technologies and energy. Support for these sectors contributes to strengthening the technological sovereignty of the republic and creating highly qualified jobs. 

It should be recalled that the number of STCs is growing in Tatarstan. Over the past year, their number in the region has almost doubled: if in June last year their number was 100 units, then as of the same period in 2025 their number amounted to 193 companies. This allowed the republic to maintain one of the leading positions in Russia.
