The development of the partner finance market was discussed in Tatarstan
In Kazan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov met with President of the Association of Banks of Russia Anatoly Kozlachkov. The event was also attended by representatives of the partner financing market, clergy, and the Institute of Management, Economics, and Finance of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the prospects for the development of partnership financing and cooperation between the Association of Banks of Russia with market participants.
The republic is actively working to develop the partner financing market. The register of the Bank of Russia currently includes 30 organizations, 22 of which operate in Tatarstan.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov stressed the importance of joint work for the successful implementation of this direction. In the first 9 months of 2024, the volume of financed transactions doubled compared to the previous one and amounted to 3.9 billion rubles.
An important step was the launch of unique preferential programs for small businesses, such as:
- unique preferential warranty product "DAMAN";
- leasing according to the norms of partner financing;
- preferential financing of SMEs.
Educational institutions make a significant contribution to the development of the partner finance sector. More than 400 specialists in this field are being trained for the industry.
In order to further develop cooperation with world leaders in Islamic banking and finance, the first AAOIFI international conference is scheduled to be held on May 15-16 this year as part of the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum 2025".
