The three-day business seminars became another step of immersion in the topic of entrepreneurship within the framework of the republican project "School Business Start", organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the My Business Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship".
600 students from large cities and remote areas of the republic took part in the second stage of the Business Design project. The purpose of the event was to develop practical entrepreneurship skills among schoolchildren, as well as help in forming ideas for startups that can be implemented in the conditions of the modern market.
Kazan, Yelabuga and Bugulma, as well as the Volga Youth Center, were chosen as the main locations for the seminars. In total, 60 school companies took part in the practical tour (from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk, Pestrechinsky, Yelabuga, Mendeleevsky, Almetyevsky, Bugulminsky, Sarmanovsky, Zainsky, Kukmor, Kaibitsky, Tetyushsky, Spassky, Chistopolsky, Menzelinsky, Alkeevsky and Buinsky districts).
At the seminars, current business coaches and business practitioners shared their experiences and conducted master classes. The participants had the opportunity not only to hear the theoretical foundations, but also to apply their knowledge in practice by developing their own projects. Each team worked on unique ideas, including the manufacture of various souvenirs, including wood, home decor, jewelry, designer textiles, a mini bakery, useful herbal tea additives, handmade soap, an intellectual and computer club, etc.
"Special attention was paid to the aspects of teamwork and creative thinking. In addition, the participants of the seminars had the opportunity to communicate with successful entrepreneurs and ask them questions about difficulties and successes on the way to business. Each mentor shared his personal cases, emphasizing that the path to success is often not easy, but perseverance and creativity can lead to significant achievements," said the Deputy First Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova.
At the end of the seminars, the participants presented their projects to a jury consisting of experienced entrepreneurs. Moreover, each team had the opportunity to present their projects not only to the jury, but also to their peers, which facilitated the exchange of ideas and the creation of new connections.
Already in December, all teams will be able to present their products and services at the annual charity fair.
In 2025, the School Business Start project will continue its work in the format of a business case championship. The final meeting of school business companies is planned to be held in the spring of 2025. The result of the entire training process will be the awarding of the winning teams. The main reward is a trip to Moscow.
