Moratorium on inspections gives positive results in Tatarstan

Since March of this year, the moratorium on routine inspections has been extended until 2030 across the country. The tool for reducing administrative pressure as of May 1 allowed to reduce the number of inspections conducted by republican control bodies by more than 4 times compared to the same period in 2022.

The approved format of inspections will ensure further reduction of the burden on business and shift the focus to the prevention of violations.

In the context of reducing the administrative burden on business and the active development of preventive measures applied within the framework of the modern model of control and supervisory activities, preventive measures acquire a special role.

The format of the preventive visit makes it possible, without excessive administrative pressure in the mode of interaction with entrepreneurs, to achieve the safe functioning of the business that meets both the interests of entrepreneurs and consumers.

During preventive visits, entrepreneurs receive information about mandatory requirements, as well as all the necessary information to comply with legislation in accordance with their activities.

Employees of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan regularly analyze the effectiveness of preventive visits by control (supervisory) bodies. There are surveys of entrepreneurs who are faced with a tool to reduce the administrative burden on business. So, as of May 1, 2023, 426 preventive visits were conducted.
