Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov at a joint meeting of the operational headquarters and the Board of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan outlined joint tasks with municipalities for 2023. This is to ensure the preservation of the growth rate of the number of SMEs and bring their number to 170 thousand units, increase the number of employed in SMEs to at least 810 thousand people – which is the main goal of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative".
To achieve these objectives, in view of remaining risks, effective implementation of financial support measures is necessary; creation of conditions for business to enter new sales markets, including exports; creation of favorable conditions for an easy start and support for social and innovative entrepreneurs; development of the institute of self-employed and municipal industrial parks.
"In 2022, the volume of support provided to SMEs has increased. In the current conditions, it is necessary not only to maintain the current rate of involvement of SMEs in support measures, but also to expand it," the minister said.
In 2023, the implementation of existing support measures will continue, which have shown their effectiveness in 2022.
In 2022, it was possible to bring the support of the republic's business to a qualitatively different level – all measures of non-financial support can be obtained digitally and in one place – through the digital platform of the SME Corporation.
This year, together with the Corporation, it is necessary to complete the integration of financial services on SME Digital Platform.
In the current conditions, an important tool in providing SME sales markets is the development of online trading. By the end of 2022, the number of Tatarstan sellers is more than 45 thousand. Their annual revenue is 50 billion rubles. The heads of districts need to continue the implementation of the e-commerce Development Program.
By the end of 2022, more than 234.2 thousand self-employed citizens were registered in the republic. The total declared income of which since the beginning of the year amounted to 31.4 billion rubles.
"The growth of the self-employed is recorded in all municipalities. The Minister noted the importance of preventing the re-registration of employees as self-employed in order to avoid paying taxes," the minister said.
Fairs for the self-employed were held only in 16 districts. The Minister of Economy instructed to organize them in 2023 in all districts.
