Small and medium-sized businesses will continue to receive preferential loans for investment purposes in 2023 at 2.5 and 4% per annum under the "1764" program. It is implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, as well as the programs of the Bank of Russia's PSC and the SME Corporation.

The limit of the preferential program has been doubled compared to last year and will amount to 100 billion rubles. The list of industries whose enterprises can receive a preferential loan has also been expanded.

Previously, the program was aimed at supporting three industries: manufacturing, transportation and storage, and hotels. Now professional, scientific and technical activities have been added, as well as activities in the field of architecture and engineering tests.

This year, the focus in lending to SMEs was on the creation and modernization of production facilities in order to ensure import substitution and increase employment.
