Entrepreneurs were extended the deferral on payment of insurance premiums

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a decree extending the deferred payment of insurance premiums for a wide range of organizations. If earlier payments for the second quarter of 2022 had to be made before the end of April 2023, now this period has been extended until May 28, 2024.

Companies carrying out more than 70 types of activities, including in the field of healthcare, science, culture, tourism, sports and entertainment, engaged in the production of food products, clothing, furniture, textiles, publishing, will be able to use the transfer of payments on insurance premiums.

The deferral is also extended for individual entrepreneurs working in these industries. We are talking about insurance premiums accrued for 2021 from the amount of income exceeding 300 thousand rubles. For them, the deadline for paying insurance premiums will be May 1, 2024.

Deferred payment of insurance premiums for the third quarter of 2022 is provided for organizations engaged in more than 30 types of activities, including the production of medicines, agriculture, construction, IT and telecommunications. They will also need to make the necessary payments by May 28, 2024.

Let us recall that in the spring of last year, by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a delay in the payment of insurance premiums was introduced for a wide list of companies for the II and III quarters of 2022.
