Innovators of Tatarstan will be able to receive money for scientific research
The Innovation Assistance Fund provides support to young scientists and small companies implementing promising projects in the scientific and technical field. Over the past 5 years alone, the fund's budget amounted to 63.8 billion rubles, 38.5 thousand projects were supported. The Fund has formed a network of regional representatives in 78 subjects of the Russian Federation. In the Republic of Tatarstan, since September this year, the powers of the regional representative have been transferred to the Director General of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Aidar Salikhov.
From 16 to 18 November this year. on the site of the Fund for Entrepreneurship Support, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the final of the "Umnik" competition was held, within which 73 finalists presented their innovative projects in the thematic areas: digital technologies, medicine and health technologies, new materials and chemical technologies, new devices and intelligent production technologies, biotechnologies , resource-saving energy.
“The main evaluation criterion is the prospects for the commercialization of the project. Therefore, the expert jury included representatives of the business community who evaluated projects from the standpoint of product demand on the market, competitive advantages and import substitution potential,” said Aidar Salikhov, regional representative of the Innovation Promotion Fund, General Director of the Tatarstan Entrepreneurship Support Fund.
Upon completion of summing up the results of the competition, according to the established quota, the Regional Expert Jury will recommend 20 applications for consideration and approval by the Expert Council of the Innovation Promotion Fund. The winners will receive 500 thousand rubles each for the implementation of their innovative projects.
The Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan includes centers for microfinance, export support and the My Business center, builds work on the basis of an integrated approach and the simultaneous implementation of such areas of business support as providing financing, training, exporting and other types of services related to the implementation regional programs for the development and support of SMEs, including within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
