Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov took part in a meeting of the Council of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan on the issue of electing the head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district Ramil Mullin. The Minister delivered a report at the session.
In his speech, the minister noted that the Nizhnekamsk region today faces many responsible tasks. The main one is to further improve the quality of life of citizens. On the part of the republic and the federal center, the necessary conditions are being created for the implementation of this task. A vivid example of this are federal projects and republican programs, which, first of all, are aimed at resolving issues of territorial development.
The Nizhnekamsk region accounts for more than 19% of the total shipped products in the Republic. In the current 2022, the volume of shipped products is planned to increase to 835 billion rubles.
City-forming enterprises also have a special impact on the economy of the region. The petrochemical cluster is one of the backbone elements of the Kama agglomeration. The industrial potential of the city of Nizhnekamsk consists of more than 20 industrial enterprises, of which the largest are the subsidiary of SIBUR - Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC, TAIF-NK OJSC, Taneko JSC, TGC-16 JSC, Nizhnekamskshina PJSC ".
“The Nizhnekamsk municipal district faces important tasks. It is important that the planned large-scale investment projects be implemented in full for the benefit of the municipality and the entire republic,” the minister said.
Taking into account the tense international situation, the economic situation, the district administration today faces important tasks to ensure daily life. This is, first of all:
• ensuring the timely start and trouble-free passage of the heating season, the well-coordinated work of public utilities and road services in the coming autumn-winter period;
• organizing the smooth operation of all social institutions, including kindergartens, schools, healthcare and social services facilities;
• Completion of the implementation of state programs for the overhaul and construction of infrastructure facilities for the current year and ensuring a reserve for the next year;
• timely adoption of the municipal budget for 2023;
• ensuring public order and security of citizens;
• countering the further spread of the coronavirus pandemic and many other daily life tasks.
Addressing the deputies, the minister noted that the successful solution of the tasks facing the district in the strategic plan and for the current period requires well-coordinated teamwork led by an authoritative leader - the head of the district. After the vote, by decision of the deputies, Ramil Mullin became the head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal district.
