A Tatarstan manufacturer of medical consumables has attracted microfinance in the amount of 2.8 million rubles to purchase equipment and expand production. It was possible to receive funds from the Fund for Entrepreneurship Support at a reduced rate, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, thanks to the implementation of the Import Substitution program.

LLC NPF MedCom from Kazan has been manufacturing and supplying consumables and equipment for the collection, storage and disposal of medical waste in medical institutions for more than 10 years. The company works with public and private medical institutions in all regions of the Russian Federation and the CIS.

In May this year, the company applied to the Tatarstan Entrepreneurship Support Fund for a microloan to purchase new equipment and increase production volumes. A microloan in the amount of 2.8 million rubles will allow the manufacturer to expand the production line with new nomenclature units.

Under the terms of the Import Substitution program, manufacturers, SMEs of the republic, can apply for a loan for any business purposes in the amount of up to 5 million rubles for 3 years at a rate of 7% per annum. An important condition of the program is the placement of information about products manufactured or sold by the recipient in the section "Catalogue of proposals. Substitution proposals" on the ETP "Republican Marketing Center of Tatarstan" (RMC): http://rmcrt.ru/goods.html.

Recall that the RMC allows collecting information on import-substituting products manufactured in the country, providing assistance to customers whose activities depended on the import of components, goods, raw materials and equipment. At the same time, the resource contains proposals for manufacturers, small and medium-sized businesses, allowing them to master the production of products in demand.
