At the end of 2021, the Export Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the ESP) of the Business Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, took 6th place in the rating of Export Support Centers of Russian regions, having immediately risen by 18 positions in relation to 2020.
The rating is based on the results of the work of the CPE for 2021. It takes into account the scope of export support in the region, the number of “success stories” thanks to ETC support, the number of new exporters, the volume of exports and their geography, and other factors.
At the end of 2021, with the assistance of the CPE, 72 small and medium-sized businesses entered into export contracts for a total of $32.5 million.
“In many respects, such a breakthrough was made thanks to the exporters of the republic and their active work in foreign markets, dedication to their work and the opening of new sales markets,” said Artur Gaynov, Head of the Export Support Center.
He clarified that the Center functions in order to create stable conditions for the long-term development of exports in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Export Support Center is always ready to provide support to both novice exporters and experienced export-oriented enterprises.
The CPE has ambitious targets for 2022 and beyond. The Center will continue to expand existing mechanisms to support exporters, as well as the list of educational programs. Thus, this year it is planned to implement a program to subsidize logistics for exporters, together with the Internet Initiatives Development Fund to launch an acceleration program for IT companies of the Republic of Tatarstan "GoGlobal".
