Midkhat Shagiakhmetov: State support measures for industrial parks help create new jobs

Kazan is hosting the final collegium of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan “Results for 2021. Tasks for 2022. Factors for Ensuring Sustainable Growth of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Within the framework of the collegium, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov noted that the measures of state support for industrial parks implemented under the concept help create new jobs in the republic and attract investments.

In 2021, a concept was adopted to improve the efficiency of industrial parks in rural areas with occupancy below 70 percent, in accordance with which the Ministry of Economy accredited industrial parks and agreements that allow residents to take advantage of tax preferences for up to 10 years and existing state support measures . Last year, thanks to the support of the President of the Republic, new support instruments (loans, microloans, subsidy programs) appeared.

As part of the implementation of the concept, since the adoption of the relevant laws, more than 80 residents have been attracted to rural industrial parks of the republic in six months of last year.
