The discussion was held within the framework of the week of receptions of Tatarstan residents on issues of social support in the public reception of "United Russia".
A discussion platform was held in Kazan on the topic: “Social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Tatarstan: types, significance, ways of development”, with the participation of State Duma deputy Maxim Topilin and Anton Dyganov - the head of the Center for Innovation in the Social Sphere and Socially Oriented Non-Commercial Organizations of the Fund for Entrepreneurship Support subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In Tatarstan, 117 subjects from 25 municipalities were recognized as social enterprises. Among them are industrial organizations that employ disabled people and produce products for people with disabilities, schools, rehabilitation centers and boarding houses, inclusive theaters, museums, creative and leisure centers.
“Tatarstan provides all the measures to support social enterprises specified in the federal law,” said Anton Dyganov, head of the Center for Innovation in the Social Sphere and Socially Oriented Non-Commercial Organizations.
Last year, a number of enterprises in Tatarstan received a special loan "Social Entrepreneur" in the amount exceeding 7 million rubles, and the Ministry of Economy provided grants to the amount of 9 million rubles to 23 more enterprises.
During 2021, 60 people completed training at Kazan Federal University, 37 of them submitted and successfully defended business plans and registered as individual entrepreneurs.
Among other support measures operating in the Republic of Tatarstan, there is a leasing product "Social Entrepreneurship" from the Regional Leasing Company of the Republic of Tatarstan and preferential rent for social entrepreneurship entities from the Committee for Land and Property Relations of Kazan.
Representatives of social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Tatarstan shared their experience in organizing enterprises and spoke about the difficulties they face. During the discussion, a number of proposals for the modernization of the sphere were formed. There was a proposal to allocate mega-grants to established organizations in need of large-scale infrastructural development. The entrepreneurs also proposed to expand the register of items of goods subject to compensation at the expense of the Social Insurance Fund and include in it goods produced at social enterprises of the republic for people with disabilities.
The discussion platform gave a start to cooperation on solving the proposals voiced by social entrepreneurs. They will work at the municipal, regional and federal levels.
