Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov congratulated students of two lyceums in Zelenodolsk on the Day of Knowledge
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge in the Zelenodolsk district. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Head of the Zelenodolsk district of the Republic of Tatarstan Mikhail Afanasyev were guests of the solemn line in the chemical lyceum in the village of Dubrovka, as well as the MBOU "Lyceum No. 1 of the ZMR RT", which was held on the main stage of the city – in the indoor sports center "Avangard".
The solemn event was also attended by the acting rector of KNITU Yuri Kazakov, Director for the implementation of continuing Education projects of KNITU Lyubov Ovsienko, General Director of AO "Himgrad" Airat Gizatullin, business representatives.
The first point of visit of the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was the village of Dubrovka. It is here that the boarding school for gifted children with an in-depth study of chemistry is located – a branch of the FSBEI VO "KNITU". Currently, 172 students are receiving education at the lyceum. There are 21 teachers working with them. There are no more than 15 students in the classes. It is not easy to become a lyceum student – the composition of students is formed on a competitive basis. In the new academic year, the lyceum for the first time scored a parallel of 6 classes, previously training here began with the 7th grade.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, R. N. Minnikhanov, congratulated the school students, their parents and teachers on the beginning of the school year and encouraged the lyceum students to new discoveries and victories.
"I am sure that the boys and girls for whom the school bell will sound for the first time today will become worthy citizens of our great and powerful state – the Russian Federation, patriots of multinational Tatarstan, their small homeland – the cities and villages in which they were born and live," the minister said.
After that, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the head of Zelenodolsk visited the indoor sports center "Avangard", where the solemn line of the MBOU "Lyceum No. 1 of the ZMR RT" took place. This year, the educational institution celebrates its 135th birthday, because it traces its history back to the foundation of the first school in the village of Kabachishchi. According to the results of the last academic year, the lyceum was among the 20 best schools in the republic.
Also, as part of the celebration, the Heads of Zelenodolsk noted the teachers of the educational institution for their many years of fruitful work in the education system with letters of thanks.
The celebration of the Day of Knowledge ended with the performance of the lyceum's anthem. One of the most exciting moments was when the students of the 11th grade, for whom this academic year will be the last, took the first-graders to their first school lesson.
