A forum and fair for the self-employed will be held in Kazan on August 30-31
On August 30, the self-employed will gather on Bauman Street near the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan. A fair will be held there, where they will present their own products. On August 31, the forum will host meetings with government authorities and the business community to discuss topical issues of self-employment development.
To date, more than 141 thousand self-employed people have been registered in Tatarstan. In accordance with the Decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" is being actively implemented in Tatarstan, which creates comfortable conditions for business development.
The forum program includes two blocks of activities. The first block of the festival is a fair of products of the self-employed, where they will be able to present goods of their own production that anyone can buy. These are handmade souvenirs, culinary delights, farm goods, leather goods, ethnic jewelry. There will also be master classes where specialists will teach painting on gingerbread, weaving birch bark products and much more. More than 100 self-employed people will offer their products and services.
The second block of the forum will be a business program in the format of a lecture course. The House of Entrepreneurs will discuss the development of self-employment among students, people with disabilities, among the audience of 50+. Representatives of the state authorities, specialists of the ANO "Center for Support of the Self-employed", active entrepreneurs, self-employed and experts in the field of application of the professional tax will help to understand all the nuances related to the status of the self-employed.
The organizer of the event isMinistry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Center "My Business" of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, ANO "Center for support of the Self-employed". The purpose of the forum is to inform about the complex of events, opportunities for participants and business support measures implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the sale and promotion of products of the self-employed.
The event of this format is held for the second time in a row and is popular with residents and guests of Kazan. In 2020, the self-employed sold products at the fair in the amount of 900 thousand rubles.
