In Veliky Novgorod, at the "Social Projects" track of the Archipelago 2121 workshop, representatives of large businesses and SIA experts discussed the key components of effective social impact of business. Following the discussion, the experts identified the key components of a systematic approach to implementing social initiatives: a strategically planned program, research of the interests of all groups of participants in the process, involvement of employees. Natalia Kremneva, Deputy Director of the Social Projects Direction of the SIA, Director of the Social Projects Support Fund:

"A number of companies have been successfully implementing a systematic approach to the social impact of business for several years, involving non-profit organizations, small businesses, including social enterprises, and taking into account the needs of the population. At the same time, we see a huge demand from large and medium-sized businesses for training in management practices taking into account ESG factors, building communication with communities and participating in the implementation of national projects. Following the discussion, the Agency, with the participation of the expert community, is working on support measures aimed at developing systemic social initiatives of business that contribute to improving the quality of life in the regions, as well as increasing the contribution of business to achieving national goals and sustainable development goals"
