The Ministry of Economy has launched programs to subsidize the interest rate and pay for food and ready meals delivery services
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is constantly working to improve existing business support programs. During the pandemic, two programs demonstrated high demand – subsidizing the interest rate on existing business loans and 100% subsidizing the costs related to paying for groceries and food delivery services. This year, it was decided to continue these projects. Applications for assistance receiving will be accepted from June 11.
"In particular, under the program of subsidizing the interest rate, we managed to maintain the amount of funding at the level of last year in the amount of 100 million rubles. The program is targeted and allows you to support entrepreneurs from the real sector of the economy – two categories of recipients are included", the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan noted during a briefing on business support events this year.
Category I: SME engaged in the main activities in agriculture, manufacturing and construction (the amount of the subsidy is up to 2 million rubles);
Category II: management companies and residents of industrial parks; export-oriented SME entities; SME entities included in the investment memorandum of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2020-2022; SME entities whose loan agreement is aimed at implementing investment projects (the subsidy amount is up to 5 million rubles).
"As for the program of subsidizing the costs associated with the payment of services for the groceries and food delivery, it demonstrated a high demand during the pandemic and restrictive measures, when the catering business was forced to sell products to end customers, resorting to the services of aggregators," stressed Midhat Shagiakhmetov.
In connection with the preservation of a number of restrictions and the request from the entrepreneurs of the catering sector, the republic decided to extend the implementation of the program – SMEs can count on compensation for the costs associated with the fees (commissions) of delivery services for the period from 01.10.2020 to 30.11.2021. Due to the demand for the program, its budget has also been significantly increased to 42 million rubles (28 million in 2020).
To receive a subsidy, one has to have a contract for the placement of goods and services on the delivery of groceries and food services, accredited by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – Yandex.Food and Delivery Club.
Also, to interact with businesses in the online space, the Ministry of Economy has launched a chatbot in Telegram (@subsidii_pkm_bot), which will prompt a list of necessary documents and explain all the requirements for forming an application for a subsidy. If the entrepreneur has already received a subsidy, he will remind you about the submission of the report. Thus, with the help of a chatbot, business representatives will be able to get a free consultation online, without queues at any convenient time.
