On May 27, 2021, the Training and Methodological Center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia held public discussions on the results of the control and supervisory activities of the Tatarstan Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
Representatives of all republican and municipal authorities, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of public organizations were invited to the event. The head of the Department for Analysis of Competition and Entrepreneurship Development Ilyas Galimov and the leading specialist of the department Albina Bikbaeva participated from the Ministry of Economy.
The speakers announced the main violations identified in the current year in the field of antitrust legislation, legislation on advertising and state (municipal) procurement, as well as an analysis of judicial practice.
Yakov Geller, General Director of the Agency for State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the 5 points of competition advocacy and noted the special role of the Republican Marketing Center (RMC) in the development of competition in the republic.
We recall that on April 7 this year at the annual seminar-meeting dedicated to the development of competition in the subjects of the Russian Federation, the head of the Control and Financial Department of the FAS of Russia Vladimir Mishelovin also noted the work of the RMC as the best practice of the republic for the development of competition.
