1,000 applications for the training program for self-employed

Starting from October 27, the Ministry of Economy announced the start of accepting applications for the free educational program “Start of the Self-Employed”. The program is aimed at those citizens who are just planning to obtain self-employed status. In total, 1,000 applications were submitted for participation in the program from all regions of the republic.

Training under the program is designed for residents of the republic between the ages of 18 and 65 who plan to become self-employed, or who are already registered in this status and conduct their activities no earlier than from August 2020. 570 participants of the training project were selected from 1,000 applications received.

Let us recall that the project involves 6 lessons on development and promotion of microbusiness from leading entrepreneurs and experts of Tatarstan, which will be held until November 30. Program participants will receive legal advice on self-employment, government support measures, business cases from self-employed mentors who have already came for a yield of 300 thousand rubles per month.

Based on the results of the training, the 5 best graduates will receive a scholarship of 50 thousand rubles as financial support for the start. All participants who complete the training will be awarded with a personal certificate of the program completion.

The program is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Businesses and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative” and the regional project “Popularization of entrepreneurship” in the Republic of Tatarstan by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
