The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has summed up the results of the socio-economic development of municipal districts and urban districts of Tatarstan for the first six months of 2020.

According to the results of the first half of the year, Kazan topped the rating of socio-economic development of the territories of Tatarstan, according to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The second and third places, respectively, are occupied by the Almetyevskiy and Laishevskiy districts.

Zelenodolskiy municipal district rose by 10 positions in relation to the positions in the previous rating, Pestrechinskiy - by 9. The positive dynamics of the districts in the rating is associated, first of all, with the growth of economic indicators: an increase in the volume of shipped goods of its own production, gross agricultural output, as well as a decrease of unemployment rate. In general, in 34 municipalities the unemployment rate was recorded below the national average, which, as of July 1, 2020, amounted to 3.37%.

The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Aktanyshskiy, Atninskiy (0.78% each), Kaibitskiy (1.1%) municipal districts, the highest in Pestrechinskiy (6.92%), Vysokogorskiy (4.37%) municipal districts, as well as in Kazan (4.16%).

On average in the republic, the volume of shipped products per capita amounted to 321.59 thousand rubles. The highest result for this indicator was shown by the Almetyevskiy district (1986.3 thousand rubles), followed by Nizhnekamskiy (797.6 thousand rubles) and Elabuzhskiy (687.7 thousand rubles) districts.

The rating also has a positive trend in the volume of housing under construction and commissioned in the districts. The Pestrechinskiy district is the leader in terms of the number of residential areas commissioned per capita - 3.125 square meters of real estate. In second place is the Laishevskiy district (2.148 square meters), and the Tukayevskiy (1.957 square meters) municipal district closes the top-3. In total, from January to June 2020, in Tatarstan, the total area of residential buildings commissioned was 0.347 sq. meters per capita.
