RT Minister of Economy took part in ASI's Smart Council

The first meeting of the Smart Council working group of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, which discussed plans for development of the Smartek digital platform and formation of a community of change leaders took place at the National Research University “Higher School of Economics”.

The Smart Council working group is a permanent expert body that oversees the work of the federal platform for collecting the best socio-economic practices of the regions, considering the selection criteria for such projects, as well as their subsequent replication.

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiyev, represented the practices of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of a meeting of the expert council. According to him, the republic has been engaged in mentoring for a long time and conducted a series of trips to the regions where their successful solutions are being introduced. The Minister also said that a platform similar to Smartek was created in the republic.

Representatives of the Kaliningrad region and the Republic of Udmurtia also took part in the “Smart Council”. The Head of the Smart Council working group, Rector of the Higher School of Economics Yaroslav Kuzminov, as well as the Deputy Head of the Smart Council working group, and the Director of interaction with regions of the Higher School of Economics Natalya Ryazantseva spoke at the meeting.
