The first Central-Eastern Congress on intelligent transport systems will be held in Kazan in 2020

On September 21-24, 2020, the First Central – Eastern Congress on intelligent transport systems (ITS) will be held in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.the Republic won the right to hold the Congress based on the results of the bid campaign.

The Congress is organized by the Association ERTICO ITS Europe*. The Congress is co-organized by the ministries and departments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.

This is a new and large-scale event in the history of the ERTICO Association, aimed at the development of its in Russia, CIS countries, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. An industry event of this level and importance will be held for the first time on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The philosophy of the Congress is to unite the world community of ITS for the purpose of sustainable development of transport traffic. The key idea of the Congress is to create a "smart future" by attracting innovations.

The Congress in Kazan will present a global platform for the presentation of ITS solutions to ensure safe, efficient, environmentally friendly and affordable mobility. 

Main thematic directions of the Congress are: traffic management, public transport, traffic management legislation, big data, research and development, innovation, drones, satellites, its and the environment, mobile applications, its training.

The format of the Congress provides a rich business program, exhibition, technical visits, demonstrations, high-quality networking.

         First Central-Eastern Congress on ITS in numbers:

• 1500 foreign and Russian delegates;
• 200 exhibitors;
• 5000 sqm of exhibition;
• 3000 professional visitors;
• 100 representatives of the world and Russian media.

* ERTICO ITS Europe was founded in 1991 on the initiative of 15 leaders of the intelligent vehicle industry (its) and the European Commission to implement research and development in the field of traffic.  For almost 30 years of its work, the Association has implemented dozens of European projects, held 38 world and European Congresses, increased the number of members from 15 to 120 companies, took a key position in public consultations and political agendas, established long-term strategic relationships with key players in the its industry in Europe, the United States, Japan, Russia and China.
