The Agency for strategic initiatives (ASI) summed up the results of the regional stage of the all-Russian competition for the best socio-economic practices of the development of subjects. In total, it received 1452 applications from 80 regions of the country, which were distributed in eight main categories: Construction and housing and communal services", "Urban development and infrastructure", "Ecology and lean attitude to nature", "Tourism and culture", "business Support and export development", "Social welfare", "Science and education", "Digital development". The leader in the number of practices and solutions was the Republic of Tatarstan, which submitted 80 practices to the competition.
The shortlist of leaders also included Nizhny Novgorod and Sverdlovsk regions with 58 and 56 practices, as well as Primorsky Krai, sending 57 decisions to the ASI competition.
This year, for the first time, participants could take part in the competition through digital technologies: ASI has launched an electronic crowd-platform on which a competitive selection is held and on which the finalists will be determined.
In September 2019, the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan proposed high technologies to improve performance in the implementation of national projects, announcing the start of the development of a unique platform for the accumulation of best practices from all municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic, as well as ministries and departments of the region.
The tool is a digital platform where practices will be divided geographically and by areas of application. This will help users of the platform to easily navigate when searching for the necessary information, as well as to see the most active areas and their heads. Access to data through the online system will allow to optimize the time and efforts of all stakeholders, allowing to reduce the time to find new solutions for the development of territories. Each practice will be moderated and peer-reviewed before publication, in the future will be included in the "Golden hundred of Tatarstan " and become part of the successful practices of Federal importance.
As said the Minister of economy of RT, the competition of the best practices will help to improve the efficiency of the administrative apparatus of the Republic of Tatarstan, to increase the investment attractiveness and enhance the welfare of the population through the exchange of successful experiences within the country. The tool will bring practical benefits to those who are willing to learn from experience and share the accumulated useful practices.
Recall, the all-Russian competition of best practices is held by ASI since 2016, the interest in it from the regions is constantly growing. So, in 2016, 302 applications from 68 regions were submitted for participation, at the end of 2018 their number increased to 724 practices from 77 regions.
