Support for entrepreneurs of Tatarstan increased to almost 2 billion rubles

The Republic of Tatarstan allocated an additional 279.68 million rubles for the implementation of the National project "Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative." The total amount allocated for the development of entrepreneurship in Tatarstan for 2019 amounted to almost 2 billion rubles.

The amount of Federal budget funds for the Republic of Tatarstan this year will be increased by 279.68 million rubles. Of these, 250 million rubles will be spent on construction of the industrial Park on the territory of Technopolis "Himgrad" (LLC "Tasma-Invest-Torg") and of 29.68 million roubles to the Guarantee Fund of RT. Co-financing from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan will be 65.6 million rubles.

"The allocated additional funds are great news for businessmen of Tatarstan, and therefore for the economy of the Republic as a whole. Both at the level of the government of the Republic and at the Federal level, much attention is paid to the development of entrepreneurship. This is confirmed by the fact that Tatarstan ranks first in terms of support allocated for the development of SMEs. The national SME project has ambitious goals, but we are confident in the successful achievement of these indicators," commented the economy Minister Farid Abdulganiev.

In total, in 2019, Tatarstan received 30 times more funds for the support and development of small and medium-sized businesses than in the past. In absolute terms, this is almost 2 billion rubles. According to this indicator, the Republic is currently the leader among Russian regions. The funds allocated under the National SME Project will be used for financial, infrastructure, consulting, information and educational support of entrepreneurs. Financial support will provide guarantees, microloans and preferential leasing. Infrastructure support will be provided through the construction of industrial parks. Funds are allocated to support export-oriented entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs developing business in single-industry towns. Additional funds are pledged to support farmers of the Republic.
