Tatarstan and Chuvashia discussed business development tools

Minister of economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev met with Minister of economic development, industry and trade of the Chuvash Republic Pavel Ivanov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed measures to support SMEs in the Republic of Tatarstan. Of particular interest to colleagues from Chuvashia was such a support tool as subsidizing interest rates on loans for small and medium-sized businesses.

This support measure was introduced by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic in 2017 for management companies and residents of industrial parks of Tatarstan. Subsidies are provided for reimbursement of the interest rate on loans attracted in Russian banks for the construction of engineering infrastructure, industrial buildings, structures and structures, as well as for the purchase of new equipment for the creation, development and modernization of production in industrial parks.

"We are interested in the experience of other regions. Studying it, we assess how it can be applied in the country. The most successful practices are adopted. In addition, we are always happy to share with other regions the best practices to improve the business climate and the development of entrepreneurship," Minister of economy Farid Abdulganiev said.
